Ocean City Fishing with Captain Butch Gee

Welcome Anglers! I'm Captain Butch Gee, fishing is my passion and catching fish is my specialty. Providing you, your family and your friends with a safe and enjoyable Ocean City offshore fishing adventure is what I do. To me, a successful day is: providing everyone with special memories of a fun time to take home, as well as, bringing a great days' catch back to the dock.
I understand that everyone has different expectations of what a day of fishing should be so if you have questions I encourage you to please ask them. No need to worry if you're new to the sport of fishing because between myself and the mate we will make sure you learn what you need to know to catch fish and enjoy yourself. There is nothing more enjoyable to me than seeing a newcomer to the sport or a kid catch their first big fish!
If you're a seasoned angler then you already know how things work on an offshore fishing charter. Most likely any billfish we catch will be released back into the ocean alive and swimming to be caught another day. Other sportfish like tuna or dolphin will be brought home to the dinner table.

Captain and first mate Billy Gee is a third generation Charter Captain and shares his father's love of sport fishing for Rockfish on the Chesapeake Bay and Tuna, Wahoo, Shark, Dolphin and Marlin when fishing out of Ocean City, Maryland. Capt. Billy was born and raised in Deale Maryland and grew up fishing the middle bay with his grandfather until old enough to start his fishing career on some of the charter boats in the Deale area.
In the late 1980’s Billy became a full time mate when his father bought his first charter boat and started Ebb Tide Charters. In 1999 he got his captain’s license and today runs the Ebb Tide along with his father. Capt. Billy also has a resident fishing guide license from the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources.
Capt. Billy has spent his winter vacations fishing for Sailfish, Striped Marlin, Dolphin and Tuna in Costa Rica and Cabo San Lucas. He is looking forward to spending time fishing in the Florida Keys with family and friends during future winter breaks.
Captain Billy is a member of the Deale Captains Assoc. and the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Dept. He was an operator of the North Beach VFD fireboat for over 10 years. He is a certified EMT and longtime volunteer firefighter with Deale, North Beach and Dunkirk fire departments.
During the last 15 years I've fished Maryland's Atlantic Coast out of Ocean City Inlet and the Chesapeake Bay out of Deale Maryland
which has provided me with extensive experience and local knowledge of how, when and where to catch the vast variety of fish Maryland has to offer. I take great pride and work very hard at putting my guests on the fish. So, whether you're after reel screaming game fish caught while trolling in offshore canyon waters or rod bending fish like big striper caught in the Chesapeake Bay,
I'd be honored if you'd select me to find them for you!
